Nursing Home

Once a quarter we are able to go to Sunnyview Nursing Home and hold a service with the residents on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoy singing together and having the Word of God preached. Not only do the residents enjoy having a church service brought to them, but we are also blessed by their joy and reception of the Word of God.

Jail & Prison Ministry

Grundy County Detention Center has given Liberty Baptist the opportunity to meet with inmates weekly. Jail is a place where men and women have reached the end of themselves and are ready to cry out to God for help. We are grateful for this opportunity to reach the lost and help those who are struggling through this needful ministry.

Soul Winning & Visitation

Weekly soul winning and visitation is our opportunity to take the Gospel door to door throughout our community. Generally, we knock individual doors seeking people who need a church home, salvation, or encouragement. Literature such as tracts, door hangers, flyers, and invitations are dispersed.

Sunday School & Junior Church

We invite everyone to attend Sunday school, where we study Gods word in various age separated classes. During our regular worship time on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Evenings, children have a separate service adapted for them and their capabilities, which we refer to as Junior Church. Junior church is all about teaching children and preparing them for "big" church, in the ways of conduct, music and most importantly preaching.
